Hello! I am Dr. Rashkis, please call me Julie.
As a lifelong competitive athlete and someone deeply interested in maximizing well-being, I became a psychologist because of my passion for the intersection between mental and physical health. I am dedicated to helping people find purpose, deep connection and fulfillment in their lives.
Throughout my 20-year career in mental health, I have taken a dual approach. Positive Psychology is the focus on optimal functioning and strengths rather than perceived deficits.
I bring over 20 years of clinical experience, combining cognitive-behavioral tools, insight-oriented work, practical interventions, and accountability strategies to help clients perform at their best while maintaining balance and wellbeing. I strive to offer an engaged and supportive partnership for real change and deeper life satisfaction.
A Biopsychosocial approach means that our biology, psychological well-being and social environments are interconnected. This global health perspective allows for a comprehensive exploration of the individual or couple creating deep and lasting insights and change.
Dr. Rashkis is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, making her one of the few private practice mental health providers with this certification.
